Selcouth: Strange, unknown, uncommon. obsolete. Here you will find marvels and miscellany, including but not limited to: a compendium of monstrosity, poetry newly released to the world, weird book recommendations, favorite trees and rocks, a magpie’s collection of scientific knowledge, despair over experiments, much-beloved bacteria, etc…
About me: scientist, poet, scientist-poet, salt-pond-walker, virus admirer, occasional sailor, finder of interesting trees, collector of rocks, aquarium volunteer, jack-of-all-trades (master of none, but better than master of one). The slightly more nitty-gritty: studied molecular biology and earth science and now work on viruses during the week and tell people about sharks on the weekend.
